Mike Florence has been within the Omnicom group for six years, and in his current role as Creative Director at Manning Gottlieb OMD for two. Working with clients such as PlayStation, Asics, Cobra Beer and VAA, Mike’s primary role is to boost the generation of creative ideas that capture the ever more divided attention of target audiences, driving effectiveness in client communications. A great example is the PlayStation Vita campaign in which we partnered with ‘band of the moment’ Rizzle Kicks to launch the brand new console at the Brits.
Mike is also charged with applying creativity to our own brand through initiatives such as Manning Gottlieb Productions, responsible for producing the UK's first Media Agency beer, Seymour Brew. As our resident creative evangelist, it is Mike's responsibility to ensure that creativity is the lifeblood of the agency, for example by creating a competition (the CANNESdidates) to send two Manning Gottlieb OMD employees to Cannes Lions.
